DEI in Tech Is in Decline. We Refuse to Let It Disappear.
Â
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts in the tech sector are on a steady decline. Job postings for DEI roles dropped by 23% in just one year, and the trend is getting worse. When economic uncertainty hits, DEI is often the first to go.
At Women Talk Tech, we believe that’s unacceptable.
For over five years, Women Talk Tech has been more than a podcast — it has been a platform for change. We have worked tirelessly to amplify underrepresented voices, foster meaningful conversations, and advocate for gender parity in technology. And while DEI efforts may be fading in many organizations, this is one initiative that will not go away.
But we need your help.
Since its inception, Women Talk Tech has been a passion project, funded entirely by our own pockets at Marketing Copilot. However, we cannot continue this work alone. It is for this reason that we humbly invite you or your organization to contribute to the Women Talk Tech initiative in any way that you can via our GoFundMe link attached. This is one DEI initiative that will not go away. Â
